They wrap the horn, swell, bars, and cantle with Kevlar®applied with a clear coat resin. They love to show off our craftsmanship and engineering abilities. With this covering you can clearly see all the way down to the Kevlar®and Wood.
At Precision Saddle Tree, they use Kevlar® because it allows for lighter, thinner bars which helps to improve the balance and relationship between horse and rider with improved strength.
